Hot on the heels of last year’s Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies and Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, those games’ protagonists are set to team up in Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney for Nintendo 3DS in just over a month.
Nintendo has today confirmed that the upcoming crossover title will be making its way to Europe on 28th March, with Nintendo of America currently remaining silent on a North American release.
The game will feature elements from both series, as Layton and Wright cross paths in London – before being mysteriously spirited away to the world of Labyrinthia, with sidekicks Luke Triton and Maya Fey in tow. Along with the series’ returning elements, players will also witness the Ace Attorney using Hint Coins, and the Professor calling ‘Objection!’ in the courtrooms, as the duo team up in a land overseen by a fortune teller that goes by the name of Storyteller.
Capcom and Level-5 are also throwing in the fan-service, with an unlockable gallery and comments from the development team available after the main story is over; while free additional chapters will be available to download gradually after the game has launched.
