Inazuma Eleven 3 was said to arrive in the summer back in a Nintendo Direct in February. It has been many months with no news since but now we finally have a release date. Nintendo has confirmed that Inazuma Eleven 3: Lightning Blast and Inazuma Eleven 3: Bomb Blast will be available to download from the eShop on 27th September. The plot revolves around Mark Evans and the new Football Frontier International Championship, as he leads the new team Inazuma Japan.
As is tradition in the Inazuma Eleven games, there are a plethora of characters to recruit to your team and plenty of special moves to aid you in matches. There are over 2,000 players you can use and over 350 special moves. You can also scout out new players via a new capsule vending machine.
Nintendo has said the 3D features of the 3DS will make the special moves and battle scenes even more intense. New features added to matches include special tactical moves which use the whole team and the ability to chain shooting moves for a strong attack on the enemy’s goal.
There will be a set of Inazuma Eleven figurines released in the build up to the release.
In Japan there was also a third version of the game released after these two versions based on the Inazuma Eleven movie. There is no word as of yet if this version will be released in the UK.
Will you be buying on launch day and if so, what version?
