After the success of Renegade Kid’s 12-bit platformer, which originally launched on 3DS (also available on PC and iOS devices), the enhanced Wii U port is set to launch 13th June in North America. Mutant Mudds Deluxe has yet to receive a release date in Europe. So while we’re waiting, feast your eyes on the latest trailer, which features some of the new ‘ghoulish ghost levels’ exclusive to the Deluxe version. There are set to be 20 of these new ‘ghost’ levels in total, with an all-new ghost-shot power-up, which allows you to damage the spectral enemies.
Earlier today, Jools Watsham also confirmed via his Twitter account which controllers the game will support:
Correction: Mutant Mudds Deluxe (Wii U) supports GamePad, Wii Remote/Plus, Wii U Pro, Wii Classic, and Nunchuk. :)

So, there you have it, the game will support just about every control scheme the Wii U has to offer. Are you looking forward to its release? If not, we’ll show you exactly why, by reading our review of the original 3DS game.
