Warner Bros. unmasks a DC Comics Scribblenauts tie-in for Wii U and 3DS

Screen Shot 2013-05-15 at 22.10.54Warner Bros. has confirmed its plans to publish a second Scribblenauts game on Wii U and 3DS during the Autumn.

Developed by 5th Cell, Scribblenauts Unmasked appears to run on the same engine as last year’s Unlimited. However, Maxwell will delve into the Superhero-filled depths of the DC Comics universe, with fully licensed characters – from Batman to Superman, through the rest of The Justice League – occupying the game’s themed areas, which span the likes of Gotham City and The Green Lantern Corps’ home world of Oa.

You can check out the first gameplay below:

Scribblenauts Unlimited arrived on Wii U and 3DS on the former’s release date – 18th November – in North America, while Nintendo picked up the publishing rights in Europe before delaying the game over here indefinitely. We reviewed the PC version, for those curious about the series.
