Capcom teased two new game announcements ahead of PAX East this weekend, and two game announcements have been made: DuckTales Remastered and Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara are both headed to the Wii U eShop this summer.
DuckTales Remastered will be an enhanced HD remake of the classic NES title, DuckTales, developed by the studio behind many a fantastic side-scroller – WayForward Technologies. In keeping with their previous titles, the game has been “beautifully re-created as hand-drawn and animated sprites, across a backdrop of luscious, re-envisioned level backgrounds”. There’ll also be a new tutorial level for newcomers, and global leaderboards.
Meanwhile, the four-player Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara will offer “seamless drop-in/drop-out online gameplay”, with touch-screen spell and item selecting exclusive to the Wii U version. Developed by Iron Galaxy, it will launch in the Nintendo eShop for Wii U at £11.99 in June.
