You probably already know that Scribblenauts Unlimited launched in North America on Wii U and 3DS on the former’s release date. However, while us Europeans were expecting the game to finally arrive on our shores this week, European publisher Nintendo has confirmed that it’s delaying the game’s release date even further.
A specific explanation was not given, however Nintendo did say the following:
“It has come to light that some changes need to be implemented within the game before we launch them across Europe. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope to make further announcements on the European launch of these games very soon.”
It’s very unusual for Nintendo to delay the launch of a highly anticipated title, especially this close to its release date. One has to wonder what exactly is causing these delays in Europe, considering Warner Bros. published these titles trouble-free over two months ago in North America.
