News: Call of Duty: Black Ops II Is Coming to the Wii U After All

After much speculation, it’s finally been confirmed that Activision is bring its first-person mammoth to Nintendo’s upcoming console.

Following the controversial Wii release of Call of Duty: Black Ops – which lacked a lot of the HD versions’ features, didn’t offer the promised DLC, and was riddled with a number of glitches when played online – Nintendo’s Wii U could ironically play host to the definitive version to the direct sequel, Black Ops II.

Boasting 1080p HD graphics whilst running at 60 frames-per-second, the complete line-up of features as seen in other formats’ versions, as well as local multiplayer without the need for a split-screen thanks to the GamePad, Activision’s ninth yearly instalment in the huge Call of Duty franchise will not only be a must-have for Wii U-owning first-person fans, but certainly another reason for fans of other platforms to purchase the Wii U early in its lifespan.
