News: Pokédex 3D Pro Release Date, New Details Revealed

With Pokémon Black and White 2 launching on DS in Europe on 12th October, and the first of two companion apps, Pokémon Dream Radar, arriving in the eShop on the same day, you may have been left wondering when you’ll be able to download Pokédex 3D Pro, also from the eShop. If so, Nintendo’s confirmed that it’ll release the enhanced Pokédex on 8th November, and also revealed some new information regarding two of the application’s new features, Join Avenue and Memory Link:

Join Avenue: In Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2, players will also have the ability to explore a new area called Join Avenue. This area is populated with anyone that a player has interacted with via wireless Tag Mode, trading or battling. These players will open shops in Join Avenue that sell rare items not found anywhere else in the game. There are several different types of shops that can be opened on Join Avenue, including those focusing on supplies, powering-up Pokémon and more. The rarity of items that can be purchased from these shops is determined by how populated a player’s Join Avenue is.

Memory Link: By connecting Pokémon Black Version 2 or Pokémon White Version 2 with a previously played Pokémon Black Version orPokémon White Version game, players will be able to see what happened to some of the characters from Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version during the past two years, capture special Pokémon, and more. The scenes players encounter in Pokémon Black Version 2 andPokémon White Version 2 will depend on how far they have progressed through Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version. Use of Memory Link requires either two systems from the Nintendo DS or Nintendo 3DS family or broadband Internet access.

Do you plan on downloading Pokédex 3D Pro when it launches in November, or are you satisfied with the original Pokédex 3D?
