News: Rise of the Guardians Launching on Nintendo Consoles (Including Wii U) in November

D3Publisher has announced that its Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game is scheduled to release on Wii U, 3DS, DS and Wii; alongside Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game on 23rd November, pretty much confirming that Nintendo’s new console will launch in Europe on or before that date.

More game details have also been revealed in a new press release, for those interested in the Torus Games-developed movie tie-in:

Let your imagination soar in Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game as you play in an action-packed adventure game as one of the classic childhood legends, including: North (aka Santa Claus), Tooth (aka the Tooth Fairy), Bunnymund (aka the Easter Bunny), Sandman, and Jack Frost. Each player has their own set of upgradable and never-before-seen extraordinary abilities to help you take on the evil spirit “Pitch” and his infectious nightmares. With drop-in-and-out multiplayer and up to four players on consoles, cool team attacks, and an arsenal of spellbinding moves, you and your team of Guardians will protect the hopes, beliefs and imaginations of children all over the world!

“This holiday season, Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game will bring your favourite childhood legends to life,” said Peter Andrew, vice president of product development, D3P. “Our game will take players to imaginative worlds expanded exclusively for the game, where they will battle original enemies, and level up their characters to gain more powerful attack moves to ultimately stop Pitch and his evil nightmares.”

Do you think the Wii U will have launched in time for this game’s release, or will D3Publisher be forced to delay the Wii U version when Nintendo reveal the forthcoming console’s release date?
